Store and Go gel is of course designed to store your brush without cleaning. And of course you should first wipe off the excess paint on the edge of your paint can or insert. The advanced gel encloses the brush bristles so well that the brush does not dry out and the bristles remain flexible. You will notice that the remaining paint can start to leak out of the brush and into the gel, which can cause it to become dirtier with time. Although the gel already has a very long life, you can improve this even further: if you first clean the brush in a Clean and Go, even less paint will leak out and the gel will remain clean for longer.
If the gel becomes more fluid after prolonged use, you can expose it to the air for a while so it thickens. You can also add some new gel. If this doesn´t work then it´s time to replace the gel. For non-daily use we recommend airing the gel regularly to prevent the air under the lid from becoming too humid. If you store the brushes in the gel for longer periods in a warm place, it is advisable to make a small air hole in the lid or avoid sealing the lid tightly to prevent condensation.
This means the gel will remain usable as long as possible.
