As a professional painter, do you want the highest quality and more efficient work? Then using a liner in a paint bucket or container is a simple and effective way to achieve these goals. Learn about the three main reasons why using a liner is essential for any professional painter: saving time, improving paint quality and being better for the environment.
Time saving: save 10 minutes or more on cleaning your tank
One of the most obvious benefits of using a liner in a paint bucket is the significant time savings. Properly cleaning a paint bucket takes a lot of time. Running under the tap is not allowed, so after the paint has dried you have to 'pick' out all the paint, down to the very last chip, because you really don't want that to appear in your paint. This work will easily take you 10 minutes, and often more. This is time better spent! You are much faster with a liner. After painting, pour the excess paint from the liner back into your paint can or bucket and, with the help of your brush, you can empty the liner in just one minute. Then let the liner dry. You can immediately use your paint bucket again with a new liner or a previously used liner on which the paint has dried. You can use a liner several times, even with a different color.
Improving quality: prevent flakes in your paint
Another important reason to use a liner is to prevent flakes in your paint. The ultra-thin liners are made of (100% recycled!) PET plastics. Paint dries and adheres better to a PET liner than to a PP bucket. In addition, the steep rolling surface ensures that the paint slides off the liner faster before it can dry and that no skins or hard particles get into your paint, as often happens with a seperate roller grid. In short, you keep the quality of the paint high for a better result.
Cleaner: no more paint down the sink and still a clean paint bucket
In addition to the practical benefits, using a liner also offers environmentally friendly benefits. All our liners are made from 100% recycled plastic, helping to reduce waste and promote sustainability in the painting industry. After the paint in the liner has dried, the liner can be reused up to four times, even with different types of paint. This not only reduces the amount of waste, but also saves costs for new liners. If you ultimately want to throw the liner away, crumple the liner with dried paint and throw it away with the residual waste. Never flush paint down the sink! When water-based paint comes into contact with water, it becomes increasingly diluted and micro- and even nanoplastics are formed. Very small plastic particles that cannot be filtered out of the water. By using liners you prevent the spread of microplastics in drinking water and contribute to a cleaner environment.
